✦ Why I Created Whispers of Spirit ✦
People often ask me why I started Whispers of Spirit. The answer is quite simple.
I’ve always loved creating.
Back in the 1990s, I studied Children’s Book Illustration at Chelsea College of Art in London, where I discovered my love of drawing whimsical characters, angels and scenes that make people smile. Alongside my artwork, I’ve always enjoyed writing too. Over the years I’ve written eleven plays, several of which have received awards. Creating stories and artwork has always been one of the happiest parts of my life.
But the real inspiration for Whispers of Spirit came from something much simpler.
One day I realised that the only post most of us receive is bills, advertisements or paperwork. The excitement of opening your letterbox and finding something personal, thoughtful and created especially for you has almost disappeared.
I wanted to bring that feeling back.
Every month, I want you to experience the little thrill of seeing a beautifully decorated envelope waiting for you. Inside you’ll find something I’ve poured my heart into, from my original artwork and oracle cards to guided meditations, playlists, stickers and little surprises. My hope is that each letter becomes a quiet moment in your month, something that makes you smile, gives you hope and reminds you that someone has taken the time to create something just for you.
